What is Panda Diplomacy?

Pandas are black and white animals that look like bears and are found in China. But apart from China, although there are pandas in other places in the world, the right over them belongs to China. Because the panda seen anywhere in the world is sent from China. And he is brought back to China after a few years. In 2014, these pandas were counted and it was clear that there are 1900 pandas. 50 of these pandas were outside China. But China has the right to the baby pandas born by these pandas, this is known as Panda Diplomacy.

China implements Panda Diplomacy all over the world. Now China is implementing the same Panda Diplomacy on America which is its arch rival. China is going to gift its rare panda to America, its biggest enemy. The reason behind that is China's sluggish economy. China's economy has become such that it is impossible to predict when the dollar will fall. A huge deficit in the construction sector has caused a sharp decline in trade in China. The additional production from it has also proved fatal to China. Due to this, the country has faced the challenge of getting a reliable market. Looking at America as a country, now China has thrown its rightful card, that is, Panda Diplomacy.

China, once the world's leading supplier of products in all sectors, is struggling with unemployment and a stagnant economy. The finished product is now lying around in the big companies that were set up in China because of the need for surplus production. Many companies in China have halted production due to reduced demand. As a result, thousands of Chinese citizens are becoming unemployed. This has led to growing frustration among workers in China. Also, resentment against the government is also increasing. Apart from this, foreign companies in China are also closing their doors and preferring India. China has been hit hard by this. To stop this fall, China has now adopted a policy of re-friending with its enemy country. Of course, China is playing 'Panda Diplomacy' to make America give its market share to Chinese goods again.

Panda is an animal found only in China and China uses it for its politics. From time to time, China visits Pandy as a diplomatic gift to build good relations with other countries. These pandas stay in the country for a few years, then they are brought back to China. A few years ago, China gave a similar panda to America. The Smithsonian National Zoo, Zoo Atlanta and the San Diego Zoo in the US have pandas. But they were taken back to China because they were owned by China. For the first time since 1972, there are no pandas in US zoos. Knowing this situation, China is now giving pandas to America.

The Wildlife Conservation Society of China is now working with the National Zoo Administration in Washington to send the pandas to the United States. Earlier in 1972, following the historic Cold War visit of US President Richard Nixon, the Chinese government visited the US with two pandas. Their breeding increased the number of pandas. But after a few years, all these pandas were returned to China.

Panda is a rare species of bear. Compared to bears, these pandas are calm. The adorable looking Pandas are in great demand among tourists from all over the world. So China can always ask for the pandas back from the countries to which it is gifted. Bringing back pandas is seen as a sign of China's displeasure. Farkaya China only lend pandas to any country. By giving pandas, China also sends a message about who is its friendly country. China also leases pandas to select countries. Panda's rent is 10 lakh dollars a year which is approximately Rs 8 crore. This amount is used for conservation of panda projects. Now China is visiting America with a similar pair of pandas. China is building rapport with its enemy nation by gifting pandas.
