Hinduism. This month is not auspicious for auspicious work. Apart from this,
special diet is also insisted on for health in this month. It is believed that
if you take care of your health during this period, you will not have to face

15 January 2024. On 15 January 2024 when
Sun God will enter Capricorn. Makar Sankranti will be celebrated on the same
day. Makar Sankranti means the day of victory. After this auspicious works will

Jupiter in Sagittarius or Pisces, he becomes engaged in the service of his
Guru. During this period the influence of Sun Gods decreases. Therefore

say goodbye to the girl in your house. Also the daughter-in-law should not
enter the house. Apart from this, it has been said in religious books that one
should not shave, enter a new house, buy a new vehicle and buy jewelery during
Kharmas. Along with this, Kharmasa is also important in Ayurveda.
It is believed that in Kharmas, if one follows a
proper regimen of health, no disease will touch him throughout the year.
Carrot, radish, oil, Rice, Sesame, Moog, sunth
and amla are said not to be consumed. Apart from this, it is also said that one
should not eat tamasic food during Kharmas. Sattvik diet should preferably be
done during Kharmas. Because this is the time of climate change. Therefore,
food digestion problems can occur during this period. Therefore, it is also
said to avoid eating meat with very spicy and oily foods.

significance, the story is told in Markandeya Purana. Surya rides around
the entire universe in a chariot with seven horses. During this orbit, the sun
does not stop for a moment, nor does it slow down and rest. But the seven
horses of the sun get tired due to continuous travel.
When the sun stops near the lake during the Hemanta
season during its rotation they let those horses drink water. But Surya
has to wait as the horses are freed. But the sun can never stop. At that
time in order to continue the journey and to avoid any danger to the
creation, Surya deva connects the two donkeys standing near the lake to his
chariot and starts the next journey.

There is a difference in speed between horses and
donkeys. Due to the load of Sun God's chariot on these donkeys, they travel at
a slow speed for a month. Therefore in this month the brightness of
the sun decreases. Sunlight is also less visible in this month. On the day of
Makar Sankranti, Sun God again joins his seven horses to the chariot and starts
