Where the work of this tunnel is going on, the entire area of ​​the tunnel comes under the influence of Baba Boukhnag. Baba Boukhnag is worshiped by the locals of this area. They also have a long journey. But due to this construction Baba Boukhnag got angry and this accident happened now. 




Another discussion with this is that a Lord Shankar-like figure has been created outside the tunnel. Due to this water figure outside the tunnel, Boukhnag Baba's anger has subsided and talk has started that Lord Shankar himself has come to rescue the trapped 41 labourers. As a result, many locals are coming to the site of the accident to pay obeisance to the figure formed from the water. (Uttarkashi)

 

It has been 16 days since the accident took place during the ongoing construction of Silkiara tunnel in Uttarkashi. 41 workers are trapped in it and the Indian Army has also started to rescue them. From the last 16 days, efforts are being made to enter the tunnel round the clock in this area by machines. But despite working hard day and night, the workers have not been evicted yet . Even modern machines have failed here. 

 

So Baba is considering all this as the wrath of Boukhnag deity. Locals have claimed that the accident happened due to the anger of Boukhnag Baba due to the construction of this tunnel. Also due to Baughnag Baba's displeasure, the workers trapped in the tunnel are not rescued. Moreover, the villagers are of the opinion that there are frequent obstacles in this rescue work.  The villagers have also claimed that rescue will not be possible until the temple of Baba Boukhnag is fully constructed and worshiped properly . (Uttarkashi)

 

The entire area of ​​Uttarkashi is filled with temples of many gods and goddesses. There is a temple of Baba Boukhnag in the Reditop area of ​​Uttarkashi. Baba Boukhnag is considered to be the protector of the locality. A fair is held every year in this temple built in the middle of the hill. Local villagers consider Baba Boukhnakh as their protector. Their emotions are worshiped. Every village here has a temple of Baba. Baba Boukhnakh is worshiped while doing auspicious work in any house of this village. Also no work is done without their permission. Meanwhile, the locals have expressed the feeling that Baba Boukhnath got angry because of the tunnel running in the same area.  

 

Baba Boukhnag is worshiped by some locals in the form of a large serpent. Lord Krishna came to Semmukhem in this area. A fair is held every year in the temple of that Semmukhem and Baba Boukhnag. This temple was damaged during the construction of the tunnel. The tunnel is passing under this temple. Now the villagers are saying that the tunnel work cannot be completed successfully without rebuilding this temple.

Now a figure is formed out of the water outside this same tunnel. Locals believe that this figure is that of Lord Shankara. But some people are also claiming that this shape is formed due to water leakage. A new discussion has started among the locals due to this shocking incident while the rescue work is going on outside the tunnel. (Uttarkashi)
