Kohima, the capital of Nagaland, is a favorite destination for tourists. Tourists can visit many parts of Kohima in the lap of nature.  Here there is a memorial to the soldiers who died in World War II. It is called ' Kohima War Memorial ' . Kohima market is also very popular. It has a large number of handicrafts made by Naga citizens for sale. It is here that the Hornbill Festival is held on a grand scale. It is one of the many famous festivals in Nagaland. Citizens from all over the world throng to this festival, which is organized every year in December.  On this occasion many tribes of Nagaland come together and perform   songs , dances and many games.

Intanki Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the major tourist destinations in Nagaland . Many types of rare animals can be seen here. Blyth's Tragopan birds are also abundant in this sanctuary. Nagaland's Ghosho is also a popular bird sanctuary. Many rare bird species can be seen in this sanctuary near Zunheboto. Rangpahad sanctuary is also famous. Birds and animals can be seen in large numbers. Dimapur in Nagaland is known as a historical city. 

Longwa village is known as the most beautiful village in the world. This village is in Mon district. A large number of foreign tourists also come to see this village. Half of this village is in Nagaland and half in Myanmar. Nestled in the lap of nature, this village has rivers , lakes , waterfalls and mountains. Apart from this, the village of Ofema is also known as a beautiful village. A large number of tourists come to stay in this village. For those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a few days, the village of Ofema is the best option. (Nagaland)

The beautiful huts built by the Naga people of this village attract tourists. Here local Naga citizens also provide food for tourists.  Tourists flock to taste these local foods and witness the Naga lifestyle . Also the traditional agriculture of Ofema village is famous. Farming on the hill adds more to the harmony of this village. For those who love photography, this village is a boon. Khonoma village is a village in Nagaland famous for its culture .  This village has contributed a lot in the freedom struggle of the country .  This village is also called the village of martyrs. There are soldiers in every house here.   

Apart from this, Mokokchung is one of the major tourist destinations of Nagaland . Mokokchung is a small town. The handicrafts here are world famous.   The waterfall at Kifire is famous. For those who love trekking, Kifire is perfect. The Sarmati waterfall here is famous. Apart from this, the waterfall called Sara Mati is also famous. 

There is also a huge crowd to see Shilloi's natural pond. This lake is surrounded by forests. The environment here is picturesque and the area has good accommodation for tourists. There is a large picnic spot around this lake near a town called Pic. Boating can also be done in this lake.

20 year old ghee to be used for Lord Ram's aarti
