A specially decorated bullock cart has left from Jodhpur in Rajasthan. This bullock cart will go to Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. This special bullock cart has a special type of ghee. This ghee has been stored for the past twenty years only for the Aarti of Lord Shri Ram. This ghee is from Sri Sri Maharishi Sandipani Ram Dharma Goshala, Jodhpur.
Mahant Maharishi Sandipani Maharaj is the head of
this Goshala. Sandipani Maharaj has been storing this ghee for the past 20
years with the resolution that when the Ram temple will be built in
Ayodhya , then we will take pure indigenous cow ghee. Most
notably, he rescued 60 cows that were being led to slaughter. He
started a Goshala to take care of these cows. It was only then that this
resolution was taken and the ghee started to be stored. (Prabhuram)
20 years ago, Mahant Sandipani Maharaj was
ridiculed by many for this resolution. But when the grand temple of
Prabhuramachandra began to be built at Ayodhya, even his mockers helped to
stockpile the ghee. Now a decorated bullock cart carrying 600 kg of ghee,
108 shivlings and Ganesha idol has left for Ayodhya. On January 22, 2024,
the first aarti of Lord Ramchandra in the grand temple will be held on this
Tupa.
A special trip has been made to send ghee from
Jodhpur to Ayodhya. This Ghrit-Ratha Yatra will reach Ayodhya
via Jodhpur, Jaipur , Bharatpur , Mathura ,
Lucknow. The yatra will be welcomed in the major villages along the route
through which this yatra will pass. Also, there will be special programs
where there will be a stay. Thousands of Ram devotees were present when
this ghee chariot left Jodhpur. He performed aarti to this ghee urn and
chanted Ramnama. (Prabhuram)
600 kg of ghee is stored in 108 kalashas in this
magnificent chariot minus bullock cart. Along with this chariot, many Ram
devotees of Jodhpur have also left for Ayodhya. 108 Shivlingas, idols
of Shri Ganesh and Rambhakta Hanuman are also placed
in this bullock cart along with kalashas of ghee .
Behind all this is the faith of Sri Sri Maharshi
Sandipani Ram Dharma Goshala and the head of the ashram, Mahant Maharshi
Sandipani Maharaj. This famous Goshala is located on Jaipur Road near
Banar, Jodhpur. Mahant Maharshi Sandipani Maharaj has been running this
Goshala and Ashram for many years. In 2014 , Mahant Sandipani
Maharaj intercepted a truck full of cows from Jodhpur for slaughter and rescued
60 cows from the truck. He gave these cows to Goshala drivers. But
they refused to keep cows due to lack of space. Then Mahant Sandipani
Maharaj decided to start a Goshala himself and take care of these
cows. (Prabhuram)
At the same time, Sandipani Maharaj resolved
that whenever the Ram Temple would be built in Ayodhya , he would go to
Ayodhya with the ghee of a local cow. The locals made fun of him for
this. But Sandipani Maharaj started collecting ghee from
the milk of those 60 cows. Ignoring the criticism from the people, he
continued his resolve.
In 2016 , after realizing the seriousness of
Maharaj's resolve, the locals started helping him. After the work of Ram
Mandira started, many people in the area started bringing their own ghee to
Maharanja. While storing this ghee, Maharaj Sandipani had to face many
difficulties. Initially, the vessel in which the ghee was collected used
to melt due to the heat and come out of the vessel. Ghee has gone bad due
to cracks in those pots. Then Sandipani Maharaj discussed this with some
saints. (Prabhuram)
It was then learned from them that ghee can be
safely stored for many years by using the juice of five different medicinal
plants. After that Maharaja himself went to Haridwar and brought other
herbs including Brahmi and betel leaves. Their juice started to be added
while churning ghee. This ghee was kept in large tanks at a temperature of
16 degrees. A special system was set up for that. Along with
this, the diet of cows was also changed to maintain the purity of
ghee.

Cows whose milk is used for ghee are given
green fodder and dry fodder. It was forbidden to feed these cows with
anything brought from outside. When Sandipani Maharaj started this
Goshala, the number of cows was 60. Now it is 350. Most of these
cows are victims of road accidents or abandoned due to
illness. (Prabhuram)
While storing ghee from these cows, many locals
have also brought ghee to Maharanja. This ghee has been purified by
churning again. Now 600 kg of ghee from this cow has been sent for Lord
Ram's aarti.
